It was 2020 - and we were in lock down (along with the rest of the world!) with our 5 year old son trying to keep ourselves entertained. We wanted to limit the use of technology, but we quickly ran out of options.
"Let's be honest - most kids board games are boring for adults,
and most adult board games are just too hard for kids"
As we were searching around the house for something fun and entertaining to do, I was struck with inspiration...
"Let's MAKE our own board game...!"
With that, we went to work scouring the house for cardboard, crayons, markers, pens, scissors, tape - anything we could use for a made-from-scratch board game.
By the end of the night we created our first board game. We played long past our bedtimes. We were officially bit by the board game bug!
We've been creating games ever since, and the more we played the more realized...
